Ingenious Solution and the City of Jumps

So, we were sitting at the dinner table tonight prior to running off to Jump City and Evey had decided she wanted to feed herself yogurt. She's pretty good at it, though it does tend to be a little messy by the end. She's also very tidy though and hates when she spills food on her clothing. So, naturally, a glop of yogurt dropped from her spoon to her dress as she was feeding herself and she was very upset.

We told her not to worry because we were going to change her before going to Jump City with Will and Sean anyway, so we'd clean her up at the end of dinner. She was not satisfied, so she devised a solution:

She found this clean spoon and transferred the yogurt into it being meticulous about not spilling any and then loaded the spoon into her mouth without the risk of further dirtying her dress. We were astounded.

So after this amazing display of problem solving prowess, we hurried off to Jump City to meet up with Erin and Henry and the boys. This place was amazing. It had the largest inflatable jump houses that I've ever seen and there were kids swarming all over them. It was also really loud because of all the bounce things being constantly blown up.

Here is a brief preview of Evey enjoying a house with a slide. She only did this about 80 more times in the course of an hour and a half:

Afterwards, she got a cookie. She proceeded to get chocolate all over her hands and face and then ask, ever so sweetly, to be picked up. I had a chocolate print of Evey's hand on the back of my shirt.

It was a lot of fun.
