She could swing for hours, hours, hours.
Side question, sort of related. I remember loving swings when I was a kid, and, like Evey, could stay on them forever. And I loved tire swings and super spinny carnival rides. The more you could spin, the better.
But in the last few years I've found that all that stuff just makes me nauseous and woozy after only a few moments. This rather came to a head when Kevin, Aaron, and I went to Cedar Point and made the crucial mistake of riding the Witches' Wheel, which I've always adored. My adoration ended that day: I was in the bathroom with my head between my knees for an hour.
Is this just an "as you get older, the crazy fun stuff is less fun and more ugh" sort of situation, do you think? I remember none of the adults around me as a kid liked the spinny stuff then, but that could have just been circumstantial.
So, whether or not you consider yourself an adult in the emotional or maturity departments, do any of you physically-adult friends out there still find glee in spinning?
